Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Operations Manager to oversee the deployment and monitoring of ML products across Select Health. You will lead ML and data engineers, drive responsible AI practices, and deliver cost reductions and health improvements for members.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering and implementing successful machine learning operations infrastructure and solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of ML methodologies, algorithms, and frameworks including agentic systems.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic direction of MLOps tech stack.
• Manage AI/ML, data, software engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud operations teams.
• Ensure Responsible AI monitoring and governance for ML solutions.
• Lead roadmap execution for AI/ML initiatives across the company.
• Coordinate ML operations and data engineering product development.
• Build and mentor ML engineering teams and foster best practices.
• Mentor leads in culture and project execution.
• Manage ML ops projects portfolio for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Integrate ML solutions into enterprise processes with governance and explainability.
• Stay current with ML trends and drive innovation.
