Qualifications

• 2+ years leading ML or recommender-systems teams.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML systems.
• Experience with retrieval models or embedding-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and long-term roadmap for Feed Retrieval.
• Translate goals into a focused team roadmap with prioritization tradeoffs.
• Coach and develop team members to grow impact and skills.
• Oversee design, development, and optimization of retrieval systems for high-quality candidates.
• Establish measurement, experimentation, and debugging practices for retrieval quality and coverage.
• Collaborate with ML platform, infrastructure, ranking, safety, and product teams to build scalable, low-latency systems.
• Maintain high standards for performance, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and communicate progress.
• Work with recruiting to attract and hire top ML engineers.
