Reddit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Feed Retrieval team responsible for identifying, retrieving, and shaping the candidate inventory powering Reddit's personalized feeds across hundreds of millions of users.

You will define the technical vision, drive roadmap prioritization, mentor engineers, and collaborate with ML platforms, infrastructure, and product teams to build scalable, low-latency retrieval systems that improve relevance and discovery at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading ML or recommender-system teams.
• Hands-on experience with production ML systems including retrieval/embedding models or transformers.
• Strong understanding of recommender systems, ranking, and measurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision & strategy for Feed Retrieval.
• Roadmap prioritization balancing model quality, inventory, experimentation, cost, and reliability.
• Lead, coach, and grow your team of ML engineers.
