Job summary

Coherent Solutions seeks a hands-on ML Engineer to join internal initiatives alongside senior engineers. You will develop end-to-end data science workflows, from data cleaning to model deployment, using Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and MLflow.

You'll build and compare models, run experiments, and help maintain reproducible pipelines and tests, while documenting assumptions and results. Remote and hybrid options supported.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on Python development experience with data stack.
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience preparing structured datasets with cleaning and feature engineering.
• Understanding of train/validation/test splits, cross-validation, data leakage, overfitting, and regularization.
• Familiarity with hyperparameter tuning and reproducible ML pipelines.
• SQL skills for data extraction.
• Ability to expose models through REST APIs or batch workflows.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate structured datasets for ML tasks.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and quality issues.
• Build, test, and compare ML models for regression, classification, clustering, etc.
• Develop and select features with guidance from senior engineers.
• Run experiments, tune models, and evaluate results.
• Maintain reproducible ML pipelines and experiment tracking.
• Write and maintain automated tests for data and model code.
• Support delivery of models through REST APIs or batch workflows.
• Document model assumptions and decisions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and gradually own complex tasks.
