Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer I to join a remote team serving the USA. You will design, train, and deploy ML models for personalization and recommendations, and build scalable data pipelines for feature engineering and inference.

As an early-career professional, you will collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to move research into production, improve ranking models, and monitor performance through experiments and A/B tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, including internships, research, academic projects, or professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised learning, classification and regression, feature engineering, and model evaluation/validation.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience working with SQL and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Git and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
