Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Data Science Engineer II for its Northridge, CA site to join the algorithm development and data analytics team focused on continuous glucose monitor technology.

You will analyze large sensor and clinical data, apply ML, signal processing, and mathematical modeling in MATLAB or Python, and translate concepts into maintainable code. Collaboration across research staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with sensor data is preferred.
• Experience with signal processing, MATLAB and Python.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to innovation and development of glucose-sensing algorithms.
• Analyzes large sensor and clinical datasets to derive verifiable results.
• Applies ML, signal processing, statistics, and modeling to develop and evaluate algorithms in MATLAB or Python.
• Translates algorithm requirements into maintainable, well-documented code.
• Presents technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
