Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Data Science Engineer II for its Northridge, CA site to join the algorithm development and data analytics team focused on continuous glucose monitor technology.

You will analyze large sensor and clinical data, apply ML, signal processing, and mathematical modeling in MATLAB or Python, and translate concepts into maintainable code. Collaboration across research staff is expected.

The position involves the support of research and development of medical devices related to continuous glucose monitors. The individual will work with members of research staff to improve the performance of continuous glucose sensors through the application of machine learning, analytics, signal processing and mathematical modeling and experimentation. The role will involve all aspects of the research and development, including data processing, analysis, theory development and validation.
