Science and Technology Corporation (STC) seeks a ML Data Scientist II to join our DoD-focused team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will develop and apply AI/ML tools to optimize chemical and biological detection, lead development efforts, and mentor junior developers.

Candidates should have a Master’s in a related field, 3–7 years of Python/ML experience, and DoD clearance eligibility. The role is full-time onsite with competitive pay and benefits.

Formación

• U.S. Citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance.
• 3 to 7 years advanced proficiency with Python coding.
• 2 years ML project experience including deep learning, NLP, and/or computer vision.
• Advanced proficiency with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Advanced proficiency with databases.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and apply state-of-the-art AI and ML tools to optimize DoD chemical and biological detection and identification systems.
• Lead development of some efforts within a government scientific team.
• Develop software applications in Python and apply ML techniques to improve detection capabilities.
• Develop, test, train, and maintain applications for developmental sensors.
• Lead small development efforts and mentor junior developers.
• Support field testing, train users, and assess system performance.
