Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to advance an enterprise AI capability for cyber operations at Fort Meade, MD. You will design and integrate models, agents, and AI workflows with tangible mission impact, delivering secure and scalable AI services.

You will collaborate with data scientists and mission analysts to turn research into production capabilities while enforcing governance, safety, and performance benchmarks across AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, or related field with 10+ years of experience (or 14 years in lieu of degree).
• Experience supporting mission environments.
• Experience with model inference/serving platforms and AI evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded operations support and rapid prototyping for AI/ML-enabled tools.
• Design and integrate LLM/agent workflows using LangGraph, Agno, and NeMo Toolkit.
• Tune model routing for cost, performance, and mission fit across models.
