Job summary

UP.Labs US is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced CV and generative AI solutions across our startup portfolio. You will own ML workflows from data prep to production, building scalable backend services and APIs for model serving.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers, staying current with cloud technologies and best practices to ensure reliable, high‑impact results in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in computer vision including image classification, object detection, segmentation, OCR.
• Proven ability to deploy scalable ML models and maintain production ML systems.
• Robust backend development skills to support ML workloads and APIs.
• Advanced Python for ML, data processing and backend tasks.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, prompts, and AI app development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of CV solutions and ML pipelines.
• Design scalable backends and APIs to serve ML models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and stakeholders.
• Execute end-to-end ML workflows: data prep, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Maintain production-grade ML systems with monitoring and reliability.
