Job summary

Ryz Labs is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join the core engineering team for an international client. You will shape next‑gen AI platforms, bridging production systems, applied AI, and engineering excellence.

Lead distributed systems architecture, MLOps, and LLM engineering while ensuring scalable, multi‑tenant designs, robust governance, and strong collaboration with product managers and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in software engineering and a clear evolution from backend/distributed systems to production ML engineering.
• Deep experience with MLOps, model evaluation rubrics, and advanced retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience designing distributed, multi‑tenant architectures and event‑driven microservices in Python/Go/TypeScript.
• Strong command of cloud platforms, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines; ability to implement governance and security for LLM use.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage AI models at scale, monitoring latency, drift, and costs.
• Design distributed, event‑driven microservices and build IaC/CI‑CD pipelines.
• Implement agent permission structures, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows, and prompt defenses.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architecture.
