Job summary

PetIQ in Utah is seeking a Mixing & Batching Technician to operate grinders, mixers, sifters, and related equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

You will follow batch sheets, weigh ingredients, and maintain clean, organized work areas while supporting a collaborative team and daily trainings to ensure quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and willingness to learn.
• Math skills required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to adhere to schedule work hours.
• Maintain proper hygiene.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Help the Area Lead in preparation for shift change.
• Capable of performing at least 50% or more of Area Lead’s responsibilities.
• Ability to follow batch sheets and weigh out ingredients.
• Operate mixers, meat grinders, and other equipment in the department.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Clean and assemble equipment.
• Promote teamwork.
• Work safely by following all safety standards and procedures.
• Attend daily trainings.
• Additional duties may be assigned and/or required.
