Job summary

PetIQ is seeking a Sanitation Technician in Utah to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the facility, supporting the production teams and ensuring food safety standards. You will follow chemical safety procedures, manage waste and PPE distribution, and participate in daily and monthly sanitation tasks under the direction of the Sanitation Manager.

The role requires lifting up to 55 pounds, reading MSDS sheets, and achieving forklift certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Read MSDS for all chemical grades.
• Forklift certified within 30 days.
• Team player with positive attitude.
• Understand and follow English directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant cleanliness and sanitation across all areas.
• Distribute PPE and supplies to designated locations.
• Follow chemical safety training and record-keeping.
• Complete daily to monthly sanitation tasks as assigned.
• Assist with Lean improvement initiatives.
