Job summary

Lilly seeks a Manufacturing Scientist/Engineer – Technical Operations to support shift operations, ensure batch readiness, and provide technical oversight on the production floor. You will collaborate with Process Engineering, PTE, and PRD to transfer processes into the Lilly Medicines Foundry, contributing to pre-startup readiness and ongoing operation.

Initial locations include Lilly Technology Center in Indianapolis or Parkwood West, Carmel, with permanent operations at the new Foundry in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in science or engineering, or technical field.
• HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years related pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor shift support for technical, training, and process needs.
• Lead changeovers and equipment qualification testing under C&Q guidance.
• Document production via batch records and SOPs.
• Lead safety and quality investigations and support process transfers.
• Collaborate across PE, PTE, PRD, HSE, and QA for successful tech transfers.
