SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking a Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. You will respond to water, fire, and mold losses and perform emergency services to stabilize properties, working hands-on in fast-paced environments while helping customers in difficult moments.

You will perform water extraction, drying, demolition, mold remediation, and cleaning, following IICRC standards and our SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/fire/mold restoration preferred (not required – we train the right candidate).
• IICRC certifications are a plus (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction and structural drying.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers).
• Perform demolition of affected materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.).
• Execute mold remediation following proper containment and safety protocols.
• Perform fire and smoke cleaning of structure and contents.
• Follow IICRC standards and company SOPs.
• Document job progress with photos and moisture readings.
• Maintain a clean and professional jobsite.
• Provide excellent customer service.

This is a hands-on position for someone who works well in fast-paced environments and takes pride in helping customers during difficult situations.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
