SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking an experienced Mitigation Estimator to support our expanding restoration operations in the Inland Empire.

You will inspect losses, develop accurate estimates with Xactimate, and collaborate with adjusters, clients, and operations to secure timely approvals and execution. The ideal candidate understands insurance-driven scopes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience estimating mitigation/restoration work.
• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate is required.
• Knowledge of water categories, drying principles, and mold protocols.
• Experience with insurance claims processes and adjuster communication.
• Able to read moisture data and field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections for water, mold, and fire losses.
• Develop detailed mitigation and demolition estimates using Xactimate.
• Identify scope based on category/class of loss and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit estimates, documentation, photos, and reports.
• Communicate effectively with adjusters, property managers, and homeowners.
• Support operations with scope clarification and change orders.
• Assist with moisture mapping, documentation, and job file compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for testing (asbestos, mold, lead, etc.).
• Ensure estimates align with carrier guidelines and company standards.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mitigation Estimator to support our growing restoration operations. This role is responsible for inspecting losses, developing accurate mitigation estimates, and working closely with operations teams, adjusters, and clients to ensure timely approvals and execution. The ideal candidate has strong field knowledge, understands insurance-driven mitigation scopes, and can produce clear, defensible estimates aligned with industry standards.

• IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT)

• Familiarity with SERVPRO systems and standards
