Wylander is recruiting a Mitigation Project Manager for a Canton, OH location. The role oversees the project cycle for the mitigation department, directing field activities, technicians, and estimating losses with Xactimate, managing job lifecycle and communications with all parties.

Base pay starts at $55,000 (DOE) with a bonus plan, vehicle allowance, PTO/holidays and a Simple IRA. The candidate should be energetic, organized and capable of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of water mitigation experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Xactimate experience preferred; training available.
• IICRC WRT/ASD/AMRT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new job leads.
• Manage and guide technicians on site projects.
• Review job profitability and analyze financial reports for the mitigation department.
• Develop opportunities in remediation and close sales for remediation projects.
• Estimate and manage mitigation projects using Xactimate; communicate with customers and insurance professionals.
• Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors; maintain client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the mitigation department. This role will provide direction and coordination of all field activities related to the technicians, trade partners, estimating the loss utilizing Xactimate software and managing the lifecycle of the job.

Responsibilities

• Conducting inspections of all new job leads
• Responsible for managing and guiding technicians on site projects
• Review job profitably and analyze financial reports pertaining to the mitigation department
• Conduct proactive outreach to mold remediation service opportunities, build strong relationships, present services and close sales for remediation projects
• Ability to manage and build high performing teams
• Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, and mold mitigation projects, selling services to the customer
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals
• Ability to estimate and manage mitigation projects
• Respond to property damage emergency calls
• Ability to communicate with a variety of customers
• Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize moisture mapping software
• Ensuring that vehicle is maintained, cleaned, appropriately stocked
• Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors
• Participate in design, process and permit submittal
• Establish and maintain client relationships
• Attend all appropriate company meetings

• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years related water mitigation experience, including supervisory experience
• Xactimate experience preferred but willing to train
• IICRC, WRT/ASD and AMRT are preferred
• Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person)
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
