Job summary

OPS Staffing in Minnesota is seeking a Mitigation Manager to lead water mitigation projects for residential and commercial properties, ensuring timely responses, accurate scopes, and profitable outcomes.

You will coordinate with insurance carriers and clients, supervise technicians, track payroll, enforce safety, and maintain documentation using our proprietary software. This role requires IICRC WRT/ASD and Xactimate experience, plus willingness to work on-call.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2–3 years of emergency mitigation experience.
• IICRC Water (WRT) certification.
• IICRC Advanced Structural Drying (ASD) certification.
• Xactimate experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Willingness to work on-call rotation.
• Able to adhere to Employee Handbook policies.

Responsibilities

• Managing all communications with insurance carriers and clients regarding mitigation.
• Accurately tracking payroll of our employees and contracted workers.

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the employees.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with agents and adjustors.
• Training and guiding the mitigation technician team members through the mitigation process.
• Monitoring guidelines and profitability of specific insurance programs.
• Creating accurate scopes of work and profitable estimates based on this scope of work.
• Evaluating team member performance.
• Completing necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilizing proprietary software.
• Any other duties assigned by the manager.

• Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to: MS-Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Willingness to work on-call rotation to handle water losses
• Ability to understand and comply with all policies and procedures., attendance, conduct and so forth as documented in the Employee Handbook.
