Job summary

Penco Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Lead Technician to manage on-site mitigation projects in Sharpsburg, GA. You will supervise field crews, coordinate drying efforts, perform demolition and cleanup, and document progress with photos and notes.

The role requires strong safety awareness and excellent communication with customers and insurers. The ideal candidate will have mitigation/restoration experience, the ability to lead multiple projects, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in property damage mitigation and restoration, with on-site crew leadership.
• Strong documentation skills: photos, notes, and digital records.
• Knowledge of construction, demolition, building materials, and safe tool use.
• Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Effective communication with owners, teammates, and insurers.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Sharpsburg, GA.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Preferred: IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD/FSRT) and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and coordinate mitigation activities on-site.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and containment.
• Perform demolition and cleanup as needed.
• Document job progress with photos and notes; maintain records.
• Communicate updates with customers, insurance representatives, and team.
• Train team members and maintain tools and vehicles.
• Respond to after-hours or emergency calls when required.
