Job summary

Southeast Restoration Group seeks a Lead Mitigation Technician to manage water, fire, and mold mitigation across residential and commercial sites. You will lead technicians, uphold safety, and ensure accurate documentation and communication with customers.

The role requires physical stamina, knowledge of mitigation processes, and DOT readiness, with on-site responsibilities and after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• 1) 1+ years of hands-on experience in restoration, construction, or similar field.
• 2) IICRC WRT Certification preferred.
• 3) High school diploma or GED required.
• 4) Strong working knowledge of mitigation processes and equipment.
• 5) Ability to lift, push, and pull 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor.
• 6) Comfortable working in potentially hazardous environments (e.g., sewage, roofs).
• 7) Proficiency with mobile documentation.
• 8) Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 9) Must be at least 21 years old and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Response & Mitigation Execution: Lead the response to water, fire, and mold-related emergencies at residential and commercial properties.
• Job Site Leadership: Oversee and guide technicians, ensure safety protocols, and ensure project completion.
• System & Documentation Excellence: Log notes, upload photos, label work orders, and invoice purchases.
• Customer Communication & Support: Serve as on-site point of contact and set expectations.
• Insurance Awareness & Scope Readiness: Confirm coverage when needed and coordinate with project managers.
