Job summary

SERVPRO in Scranton, PA is seeking a Mitigation Field Estimator to drive estimating, inspection, and sales growth across water, fire, mold, and emergency mitigation projects. You will scope, estimate, and close opportunities across three Scranton-area locations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in restoration field operations, expert Xactimate skills, and strong communication with property owners, insurers, and commercial clients to secure project approvals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the Restoration Industry, with a focus on Mitigation Field Operations and Estimating.
• Advanced proficiency in Xactimate for scoping, line items, sketches, and pricing adjustments.
• Strong ability to close mitigation sales and negotiate scopes with insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough on-site inspections for emergency mitigation projects.
• Scope job sites accurately and write comprehensive, accurate estimates in Xactimate.
• Capture moisture mapping, thermal imaging, photos, and detailed scope notes.
• Negotiate and finalize scopes with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and property owners.
• Drive project sales conversion by building trust with property owners during site visits.
• Manage relationships with insurers, agents, property managers, and commercial decision-makers.
• Upsell additional restoration services where applicable.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients through scoping and approvals.
• Ensure estimates align with production capabilities and margin goals.
• Coordinate with project managers and crew chiefs for smooth transitions to execution.
