Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking an experienced Mission Thread and Integration Engineer (Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer – Enterprise Systems Engineering) to lead cross-directorate integration for a new SIGINT architecture.

This on-site role interfaces with senior government officials and a broad set of contractors to review requirements, manage interfaces, and guide system engineering across space, ground, and C2 domains.

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressively more responsible systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Current TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a multi-disciplinary systems engineer in the program office for next-generation SIGINT architecture.
• Lead cross-Directorate Mission Thread integration to align acquisitions with operational capabilities.
• Authorship of interface definitions across space, ground C2, and processing architectures.
• Contribute to architectural trades leveraging the Aerospace mission analysis team.
• Interface with Government Customers and SETA/contractors; present findings and recommendations.
