Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer – Enterprise Systems Engineering in Chantilly, VA, onsite.

You will serve as a SIGINT systems engineer for a new architecture, defining interfaces, conducting trade studies, and coordinating with government customers and contractors to advance capabilities. You will lead architectural trades, manage matrix engineering resources, and translate needs into capability requirements, while ensuring Aerospace tools and processes meet program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• 12 years of progressively responsible systems engineering experience.
• Experience in R&D of new technologies for space systems (e.g., microelectronics, optical sensors, RF).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a multi-disciplined systems engineer in the program office for next-gen SIGINT architecture.
• Contribute to authorship of payload and mission interface definitions.
• Lead architectural implementation trades with the mission analysis team.
• Lead matrix engineering organization and lab resources to support concept development and analysis.
• Interface with Government Customers and collaborate with SETA and other contractors.
• Generate technical findings and recommendations for Government Customers and aerospace management.
• Support advancement and capability development with end-user understanding.
• Influence enterprise-level assessments and action plans.
