Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. seeks a Mission Systems Engineer to develop next-generation space control systems in Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA.

You will build simulation tools, conduct mission analyses, and support system-level decisions throughout the full program lifecycle. Responsibilities include modeling, rendezvous trajectory design, constellation performance analysis, and collaboration with hardware and software teams to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in mission analysis, space operations, or orbital mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Apply analysis and modeling techniques to support engineering decisions.
  • Build and use system modeling and analysis capabilities to support trade studies, performance evaluations, and feasibility assessments.
  • Lead the design, simulation, and analysis of rendezvous and proximity operations mission trajectories.
  • Lead the design, simulation, and analysis of constellation mission performance.
  • Optimize spacecraft maneuvers to achieve mission objectives while considering fuel efficiency, timing, and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Oversee the integration of mission systems, ensuring seamless interaction among hardware, software, and operational components.
  • Coordinate with subsystem teams to troubleshoot integration challenges, ensuring mission readiness.
  • Support mission operations teams during testing and real-time mission execution.
