Job summary

Textron Aviation offers a 2027 Internship in Mission Solutions - Special Missions in Wichita, KS. You will support the Technical Sales team and interact with the Special Missions Sales group on aircraft sales and marketing matters.

The role centers on developing the Special Mission Configurator, coordinating with sales and capabilities teams, and delivering timely responses to inquiries. A Bachelor's degree pursuit and strong MS Office skills are required; onsite work is expected for the

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to align with customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Works with IT to further develop the Special Mission Configurator tool.
• Collaborates with Special Mission Sales and Capabilities Development to identify cots solutions for the Configurator tool.
• Responds to sales inquiries for question resolution within target four hours of initiation.
• Leads projects to improve Special Mission Sales support procedures including presentations, competitive analysis and data collection.
• Responsible for coordinating sales training, and for ensuring that the Sales team is aware of current and planned Special Missions capabilities.
• Communicates to sales personnel specific information regarding competitive products.
• Maintains a complete knowledge of special missions systems, capabilities, and suppliers.
• Researches supplier offerings to keep abreast of changes that affect our competitive posture.
• Prepares meaningful reports for dissemination to the sales organization and management on new developments in special missions
