Textron is offering a 2027 Internship - Project Manager - Special Missions in Wichita, KS. You will work with the Product/Program Manager and Director to support programs in aviation projects and customer/supplier interfaces.

The role emphasizes planning, cross‑functional collaboration, and delivering contract milestones. This internship provides mentorship, training, and hands-on project experience, with real project work and potential 401(k) vesting credits upon full‑time employment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer experience required.
• Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interface with customers, subcontractors, and supplier counterparts daily.
• Assist with planning and execution of projects according to milestones and schedule.
• Work in a cross‑functional environment and communicate effectively.
• Provide metrics and briefs to management as required.
• Assist with project cost versus budget and be accountable for profit/loss.
• Produce deliverables as required by the contract.
• Manage risk to projects with leadership support.
