Job summary

Muon Space seeks a Systems Engineer, Mission Platforms to join our Mission Engineering team. You will act as the primary systems integrator for end-to-end mission capability baselines, unifying hardware, flight software, ground interfaces, and mission operations.

Qualifications

• MS in engineering or higher, with strong multi-disciplinary experience.
• Experience with AI&T workflows and V&V strategies.
• Proven ability to drive alignment across senior, cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and integration of the holistic mission platform baseline.
• Partner with BD/PM to define end-to-end technical roadmaps for spacecraft platform families.
• Establish and release standardized capability baselines (HW+SW+Ops).
• Coordinate with domain leads to ensure architectural coherence across the mission stack.
• Execute system-level simulation and analysis to confirm platform specs meet KPIs.
• Maintain awareness of avionics and subsystem roadmaps to meet timelines.
• Drive V&V campaigns and fault management architectures.
