Job summary

Quindar in San Francisco is seeking a technically minded Product Manager to lead Mission Planning across Plan and Portal, translating objectives into executable plans for spacecraft and operations teams.

You will own the product lifecycle from discovery to iteration, work with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams, and shape workflows that scale from individual spacecraft to diverse fleets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in aerospace or complex SaaS.
• Ability to own product roadmaps and deliver end-to-end features.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and long-term vision for Mission Planning across Plan and Portal.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to translate problems into scalable capabilities.
• Develop deep empathy for mission operators and stakeholders through research and feedback.
• Identify opportunities to automate planning and scale workflows to large fleets.
• Evolve scheduling: plan spacecraft activities, ground contacts, and payload ops.
• Define cross-party workflows enabling coordination with appropriate permissions.
• Define metrics to measure planning effectiveness and drive product improvements.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on mission planning workflows and market landscape.
