Job summary

Raytheon in Aurora, CO seeks a Principal Systems Engineer – RF Engineer to lead complex RF communications and antenna system work across the full product lifecycle. You will guide analysis, design reviews, test planning, and fielding activities while collaborating with program management, systems engineering, and customers to resolve technical challenges and deliver mission capabilities.

The role requires extensive RF engineering experience, leadership, and a DoD TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required with 8+ years of experience.
Experience leading or supporting RF links, antenna systems, and RF hardware.
Experience with system analysis, trade studies, design, integration, testing, verification, or troubleshooting of RF/electronic systems.
Proficiency with MATLAB, HFSS, Python, and test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers).
Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Lead system analysis, integration, verification, and troubleshooting in lab and field environments.
Conduct RF system and antenna trade studies and technical analyses.
Coordinate activities with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
