Job summary

Expedition Technology (EXP) seeks a Mission Lead to drive the strategy and growth of a major mission area for national security programs. You will shape the technical roadmap, manage customer relationships, and guide investment decisions to ensure long-term success and impact.

You will partner with executive leadership, translate mission needs into capabilities, and oversee a portfolio’s health, growth, and talent development across AI, ML, CV, analytics, and software domains.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience leading significant technology, mission, or business portfolios.
• Experience supporting defense, intelligence, or national security customers.
• Ability to build trusted customer relationships and grow opportunities.
• Experience shaping and pursuing strategic opportunities, including proposals.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, computer vision, signal processing, software systems, data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term vision, strategy, and growth trajectory for your Mission Area.
• Identify emerging mission needs, market shifts, and technology trends.
• Build trusted relationships with government customers, mission stakeholders, and partners.
• Shape opportunities from concept through capture and award.
• Develop growth strategies with BD and executive leadership; expand customer relationships.
• Lead white papers, strategic captures, and proposals; ensure investments align with needs.
• Guide portfolio health, financial growth, and strategic positioning.
