Job summary
Space Dynamics Laboratory seeks a Mission Engineer to support national security space systems. You will embed with SYD 81/OTTI, shaping infrastructure strategy, and delivering enterprise architectures for test, training, and operational needs.
The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, 10+ years in DoD/aerospace systems engineering, and on-site work within secure facilities. AV tech, cloud and DoDAF/CAMEO experience are valued. Competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- BS degree in systems engineering, IT, CS, or related field.
- ≥10 years of enterprise-level systems engineering experience in DoD or aerospace.
- Experience with USSF networks and IT mission systems across on‑prem and cloud.
Responsibilities
- Develops enterprise architectures using systems and mission engineering.
- Translate mission requirements into scalable test and training designs.
- Lead end-to-end enterprise engineering to modernize USSF capabilities.
- Provide SME guidance to embedded customer leadership on infrastructure strategy.
- Design AV systems including video, audio, control, and networking.
- Create system drawings, documentation, and interfaces.
