Job summary

OASYS, INC., a leading-edge government contractor, seeks a Senior Principal Mission Engineer to support SDA. The role focuses on analyzing space and ground system architectures and developing verification methods for the Enterprise Requirements Document.

Candidates should have 15+ years' DoD/NRO system engineering (or 17+ with a bachelor’s). Strong modeling, simulation, and mission analysis skills are essential; TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 15+ years in system engineering for space/DoD/NRO programs.
• Bachelor's degree with 17+ years in similar domains.
• Experience coordinating space and ground segments to meet end-to-end requirements.
• Strong modeling, simulation and mission analysis techniques and tools.
• Self-starter with teamwork and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SDA/DoD/NRO in an acquisition environment and space/ground systems.
• Space Mission V&V experience at the mission level.

Responsibilities

• Develop RVTM for the Enterprise Requirements Document (ERD).
• Plan data aggregation from component programs and SDA analysis to show ERD compliance.
• Review government scenarios to ensure consistency across tranches.
• Develop and brief data packages with analysis results for decision-makers.
• Collaborate with prime contractors, government civilians, and SDA team members.
