Job summary

STI-TEC seeks a Senior Space Systems Engineer SME with deep experience in space system architecture, mission design, and end-to-end systems integration for defense or national security programs. The role requires proficiency in requirements development, interface control, and space-to-ground integration, with a track record of leading multi-mission architectures in contested environments.

Qualifications

• MS degree or higher with 10+ years in space systems engineering.
• Expertise in space control space, ground, and C2 systems across lifecycle stages.
• Experience with requirements development and interface control for space programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end space system architecture development aligning with SSC objectives.
• Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements and interface control.
• Oversee integration and test planning across space, ground, and communications segments.
• Perform technical trade studies to optimize system performance and enable rapid technology insertion.
• Serve as senior technical advisor coordinating with government, contractors, and mission partners.
