Coast Guard Exchange at Ellington Field, Houston, is seeking an hourly Store Manager I to lead a retail team. Manage daily operations, assist customers, and supervise staff in a stable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or late nights.

Qualifications

• Minimum: two years of progressive experience at department/assistant manager level or completion of the CGX Leadership Development program or current USCG NAF department manager/assistant manager with relevant duties.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise store personnel and operations.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints; hire, train or direct training of staff.
• Develop promotional sales with HQ; manage pricing and vendor relations.
• Oversee loss prevention, safety standards and posters; ensure training compliance.
