Job summary

Coast Guard Exchange is seeking an Hourly Store Manager I to lead a busy retail operation at Ellington Field, Houston. This role emphasizes customer service, staff leadership, and adherence to loss prevention policies, with a daytime schedule Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of store management experience, strong operational oversight, and the ability to train and motivate a team. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in store leadership or equivalent.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage a retail operation with annual sales under $5M.
• Direct and supervise all store personnel; hire, train, and develop staff.
• Assist customers, resolve complaints, and ensure excellent service.
• Oversee pricing, promotions, and vendor coordination with HQ staff.
• Monitor monthly P&L and implement corrective actions when needed.
