Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations in a Sarasota, FL location. You will supervise staff, ensure outstanding customer service, manage donations and inventory flow, and uphold loss prevention standards while supporting a mission-driven environment.

You will train teammates, handle opening/closing duties, and adapt to a fast-paced retail setting. Open availability, leadership potential, and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience; leadership experience preferred (not required for all roles).
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example while supporting a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning POS and reporting tools.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift 25-40 lbs depending on role.
• Reliable transportation.
• Open availability; willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and support a culture of world-class customer service.
• Assist with daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and reporting.
• Train team members in customer service, merchandising, donation flow, pricing, and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe store conditions while managing inventory flow and product rotation.
• Monitor loss prevention and safeguard company assets.
• Maintain donor tracking and department-specific goals.
• Provide mission-driven leadership to create an inclusive environment.
• Step into keyholder, department lead, or management support as needed.
