Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to support daily, mission-driven store operations.

You will accurately itemize purchases, balance registers, and provide friendly customer service to shoppers while helping with stocking and merchandising duties. The role requires reliable attendance, ability to perform basic financial calculations, and the willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer-based register system and handle transactions.
• Count till and reconcile drawer at shift end.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with store operations.
• Sort donations, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise is rotated and priced.
• Train and develop store team members, clients, and volunteers.
