Job summary

Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB) is seeking an HR Administrator to serve as the primary HR contact across the organization. You will support payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and employment documentation while maintaining compliant HR practices and a respectful workplace culture.

Responsibilities include collaborating with managers on staffing, onboarding, references, and offboarding; maintaining confidential records; generating HR reports and metrics for leadership; and handling employee

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR, business administration, nonprofit management or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR administration, payroll, or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle administration, policies, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day HR processes for all ISB departments and units.
• Be the first HR contact for employees and supervisors; handle sensitive issues discreetly.
• Maintain confidential personnel files, HR records, and job descriptions.
