Health Care for the Homeless in Baltimore, MD seeks a Director of Human Resources to advance the organization’s HR vision and champion inclusion. Lead staffing, compensation, and HR operations while guiding workforce development, and ensure compliance with laws and HIPAA protections.

You will partner with senior leadership, mentor HR staff, and oversee HRIS (ADP) to drive data-driven decisions and a strong, compliant workplace culture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 10-15 years of HR leadership experience; associate degree with 5+ years may be considered.
• Master's degree in Human Resource Management/Development or related field preferred.
• PHR or SHRM certification strongly preferred.
• Seven years of HR management experience; health care or human services setting preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in deadline-driven project management.
• Experience managing HRIS and data analytics.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Passion for leveraging technology to reduce paper processes and create transparency.
• Strong ethical decision-making.
• Ability to plan, implement, oversee and evaluate complex initiatives.
• Composed, reliable leader in stressful situations.
• Self-reflective and committed to an anti-racist workplace.
• Strong ability to build rapport, motivate others and form partnerships.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Leadership: Align HR strategy with agency goals and staffing/compensation plans.
• Team & Culture Development: Lead HR staff and foster collaboration and trust.
• HR Operations: Ensure compliance, audits, and HRIS management.
• Talent & Workforce Development: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and career pathways.
• Board & Legal Liaison: Staff HR Committee and liaise with legal counsel.
