The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and staff development to support program leaders with timely financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or proven skill set to lead the finance department.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting and finance management.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of current financial software and Excel; able to transfer knowledge to staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance department operations including cash receipts, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll and grants management.
• Hire, train, supervise, and manage all finance personnel.
• Ensure accurate monthly and annual financial statements and support for audits.
