Job summary

Mississippi Women's Ministries/Woman's Missionary Union seeks an Executive Director-Treasurer to provide statewide vision and strategic leadership for missions mobilization among Mississippi Baptist churches and associations. We seek a spiritually mature, missions-minded Christian leader who develops people, builds relationships, and leads organizations well.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff leadership, and oversight of Garaywa Camp & Conference Center in collaboration with the MS WMU

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seminary/graduate theological education strongly preferred; candidates without seminary may be considered with substantial ministry leadership experience.
• Approximately 5–10 years of church, denominational, or comparable Christian ministry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide vision, strategic leadership, and missions mobilization among Mississippi Baptist churches and associations.
• Oversee Garaywa Camp & Conference Center.
• Collaborate with the MS WMU Executive Board and partner with churches, associations, MBCB, national WMU, and other SBC entities.
