Job summary

Patty Baker Humane Society Naples is seeking an Events Manager to lead the full lifecycle of fundraising events, from signature galas to community activations, coordinating sponsorships, vendors, permits, and volunteers.

The role reports to the Chief Development Officer, requires 40 hours weekly, Tuesday through Saturday with occasional Sundays, and offers benefits including health insurance, PTO, retirement matching, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience planning and executing events that meet revenue and attendance goals.
• Experience cultivating and closing corporate sponsorships or partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to present to sponsors and partners.
• Experience managing event budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics from planning through close-out.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute PBHSN’s signature fundraising events from concept to close.
• Manage sponsorships, donor relations, and volunteer coordination.
• Coordinate logistics: venue, vendors, permits, catering, AV, decor, and signage.
• Lead peer-to-peer fundraising programs and community events as applicable.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for event success.
