Wounded Warrior Project is seeking an experienced Event Planning Specialist to support meetings and events for warriors and staff. You will handle logistics, site selection, catering, and on-site support while identifying cost-saving opportunities to maximize donor dollars.

The role requires strong vendor management, budgeting, and reporting skills, plus experience with registration software (Cvent, Salesforce) and CMP is a plus. Hybrid in-office schedule with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in events or meetings planning, or hospitality.
• One year of experience negotiating contracts.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support events logistics for warriors and staff, including site selection and catering.
• Negotiate rates with hotels, ground transportation, and AV vendors.
• Create event menus and contracts, monitor budgets, and generate reports.
