Defense Unicorns is seeking a Mission Director for remote engagement in the United States. This role owns a full lifecycle from discovery to contract award, shaping solutions with our products and maintaining portfolio accountability through delivery.

The candidate will develop trusted relationships with Mission Heroes, define outcomes, and drive opportunities across a growing portfolio, including multiple contract types and cloud-native technology work. Travel ~25–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience within the Intelligence Community or related defense environment.
• Understanding of domain culture, mission, stakeholders, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Build a diversified portfolio of opportunities and own a quota.
• Shape customer problems and lead opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
• Serve as program leader through contract execution and manage delivery risks.
