Leidos is seeking a Voice and Hardware Systems Engineer to support mission-critical voice systems at Schriever SFB, overseeing voice and hardware engineering throughout the lifecycle of mission applications. Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BS degree with 2+ years relevant experience, or MS with less than 2 years.
• Current DoD 8570 certification applicable to the position (Security+).
• Experience with voice systems engineering on mission-critical systems.
• Understanding of mission-specific communications infrastructure and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide system level engineering support for mission-critical IT systems and voice infrastructure.
• Ensure availability of launch communications through proactive hardware maintenance.
• Create or update knowledge articles to aid Tier 1 support.
• Perform daily system checks for alerts and degradation of service.
• Support enterprise VoIP systems including Cisco VoIP phones, voicemail, and Call Manager.
• Direct proactive engineering methods to maintain voice availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement technical solutions with impact analysis.
• Manage incidents and problems to restore service and support change management.
