Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator II to support the National Mission Critical team in planning, coordinating, scheduling and cost accounting for commercial construction projects.

You will assist the Project Manager with subcontracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals and invoices, while maintaining project documents in a largely paperless environment. Strong communication and detail orientation are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Use integrated software to process and track subcontracts, change orders, drawings, RFIs, submittals, invoices, and insurance certificates.
• Create and maintain project documents in a paperless environment using network servers.
• Assist with pre-construction efforts and proposal generation as needed.
• Prepare trade contracts and bid packages and assist with procurement.
• Oversee shop drawings, submittals, construction drawings, approvals, and coordination.
• Draft communications for PM/Staff and coordinate internal meetings.
• Assist with owner pay applications and cost-estimate database under PM guidance.
• Manage closeout, punch lists, OM manuals, and distribution of Record Drawings.
• Identify and implement cost or time savings.
