Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team. This role supports the project team by learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies while contributing to project tasks.

Responsibilities include RFIs, shop drawing coordination, dimensional control verification, vendor/subcontractor coordination, safety policy learning, site logistics, permit inspections, punchlist tracking, and scheduling support. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.
• Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Help generate RFIs and track approvals.
• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.
• Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions.
• Assist in coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.
• Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Gain an understanding of overall site logistics.
• Participate in and gain an understanding of permit inspection process.
• Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.
• Accompany Ryan personnel on Punchlist inspections and monitor completion.
• Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule.
