Job summary

The PENTA Building Group is seeking a Mission Critical Project Manager to lead data center project initiatives in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate with Owners, design teams, and internal staff to drive project success from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in mission critical construction, a Construction Management degree, and OSHA certification. You will manage budgets, procurement, and document control while maintaining schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of prior experience as a construction Project Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of recent large-scale Data Center/Mission Critical construction project experience.
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Fluency in reading, quantifying, and analyzing construction drawings.
• Experience with scheduling and sequencing of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact with Owner and design teams and build strong professional relationships.
• Develop project-specific responsibilities for project team.
• Set guidelines & procedures and ensure operational compliance.
• Complete project startup checklist and develop, implement, and assign activities.
• Set up and oversee document control process and monitor throughout and close out.
• Oversee long lead procurement with Project Engineers.
• Set up and run OAC meetings and project team meetings.
• Analyze and negotiate buyout and contract scope of work.
• Consolidate contract estimate into budget and develop schedule of values.
• Maintain and update project budget and prepare monthly financial reports.
