Job summary

Alston Construction seeks a Project Executive in Harlingen, TX to lead mission-critical projects, directing daily management, coordination, and execution of high-stakes work, with emphasis on data centers and reliable, fast-track delivery.

You will mentor staff, manage contracts and risk, ensure operations meet budget and quality targets, and collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to achieve zero-downtime performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive operations experience, including supervisory roles, with a general contractor.
• Minimum of 5 years leading data center or mission-critical facility projects preferred.
• Proven success managing multi-million-dollar projects with tight deadlines and high complexity.
• Design-build experience on relevant project types.
• Valid State-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance meeting liability coverage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations staff and strategic planning for mission-critical projects.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff; ensure compliance with company policies.
• Manage contracts, risk, and change orders to meet budget and schedule.
• Maintain client relationships, coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Provide executive oversight for MEP coordination and high-reliability systems.
