Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking a Sr. QA/QC Manager to lead the project quality program for mission-critical data center projects. You will enforce quality procedures, coordinate inspections, review submittals, and drive accountability across trades from rough-in through turnover.

You will manage QA/QC plans, ensure documentation completeness, and lead quality trainings with field personnel, supporting commissioning and system readiness on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., CQM-C, ASQ, ICC, ACI).
• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC or field construction inspection.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, codes, and QA/QC practices.
• Experience managing or supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality standards such as IBC, ASTM, ASHRAE, NFPA, and ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in documentation software such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the project QA/QC program for mission-critical data center projects.
• Oversee quality procedures across trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, civil).
• Perform field inspections to verify installation quality and conformity.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing (concrete, welding, fireproofing, NETA).
• Track non-conformance reports and punchlists from rough-in to turnover.
• Lead QA/QC meetings with subcontractors and train field personnel.
• Ensure QA/QC deliverables are included in final turnover package.
